EGAP Learning Days: Montevideo

Montevideo, Uruguay

Evidence in Governance and Politics (EGAP) Learning Days brought together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working on experimental methods in political science and governance. The workshop in Montevideo was an intensive week of training in field experiment design, causal inference, and the practical challenges of studying political behavior.

The setting — Uruguay, a country with one of the region's strongest democratic traditions — provided a fitting backdrop for discussions on governance, accountability, and political economy. Connecting with researchers across Latin America who share similar methodological interests was both energizing and formative.
